Child Protection
Department (CPO's) :
The Child Protection
department provides
comprehensive Child
Protection services in a
24-hour daily
residential
environment.
Child Protection
officers:
-
Act as a point of
contact for local,
tribal and federal
law enforcement and
child protective
services.
-
Collaborate with
staff in academic,
residential and
administrative areas
to ensure that
appropriate child
protection measures
are carried out.
-
Address behavioral
problems and assist
with the development
and implementation
of appropriate
interventions.
-
Organize and
facilitate Teen
Court and supervise
consequences.
-
Organize and
facilitate Child
Protection Team (CPT)
meetings.
-
Operate as a crisis
response team on and
off campus.
